Tribute to the WWII VeteransThe La Salle Dance Orchestra plays at Glen Echo about once a month. For their November 11 offering, they developed a program of World war II era music; Ellen Engle and Marc Shepanek produced a dance tribute to the veterans in attendance, assisted by a small team of serious amateurs. The dance number was choreographed to the Andrews Sisters version of Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy from the film Buck Privates Click Here for a small video clip of the Andrews Sisters singing Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy Libby Wightman and Keith Rocco Members of the band Jump Alley, they came all the way from New Market By the way, they had 140 folks at their own veteran's day Dance the day before Connie Lausten and Tony Nesky The lovely ladies who participated in the tribute The Entire Cast of Performers | |||||||
