October 23: The National Capitol Squadron of the Commemorative Air Force will hold the 8th Annual Hangar Dinner-Dance at the Landmark Hangar at the Leesburg Executive Airport. The Radio King Orchestra will play; Marc and Ellen will give a beginner lesson and hold a dance competition. BBQ Dinner starts at 5:00pm, lessons at 7:00pm and dancing at 8:00pm.
Contests for vintage costumes and dancing will be awarded, so come in your favorite 40's wear or as you are for an evening of WWII nostalgia.
Tickets including dinner are $35.00 in advance, $40.00 at the door,active duty military, reserve and national guard personnel are free! You are welcome to join us for just the dance at no charge, however a donation of $5.00 is suggested. This year's dance is in conjunction with the Leesburg Airport's Airshow-so you can make it a fun-filled day of flying history, food and dance for the whole family.
