I always like dances at the Smithsonian. This little gig was a real gem -- it was nicely fit in between 6 and 9, so you could do something at one of the major venues if you were still of a mind to dance. The Natural History Museum was a very elegant setting --- as you can see, Teddy Roosevelt's giant elephant was an interesting backdrop for the Shag and Charleston influenced sounds of the New Hots Jazz Orchestra.
