Sue and Gary's "Big Zero" Party
Hi Lindy
Hoppers!!! Many Happy Returns!!!
On July 26, 2003 Sue and Gary Caley held a wonderful party at the Reston Community Center. It seems that this was a very auspicious day, marking their 10th anniversary and other "decade" events ending in a zero including BOTH Sue and Gary's birthdays and the birthdays of Sue's son and father. Indeed, they celebrated it in a big way -- they hired King Teddy and had the Eight Week Wonders in to perform. This was a WHOLE lot of fun and (as you can see) a lot of folks passed up the first Swing Dance in the newly renovated Spanish Ballroom to attend. Actually, we cheated and dropped in for TCO's final set, being able to participate in the very first Shim Sham in the new ballroom. It was MUCH cooler at Sue and Gary's party. These guys reall deserve a BIG round of applause for throwing this shindig! King Teddy They did a fantastic job! Sue's Family Is there a family resemblance here?
