For the sixth time, the Artie Shaw Orchestra under the direction of Dick Johnson played for DC Lindy Hoppers. The event was a predictable smash success, although we prefer to hear this band at a larger venue like Clarendon. Minneapolis dancer Peter Strom, in town for workshops made an appearance in the jam. It looked like everyone had a great time!
